Connecting a device in the app

This section is shared for bhScale and bhBase.

Connection steps

1. Wait until the LEDs on the device go out (about 30 s for bhScale, 2 min for bhBase).

2. Open the eHive app and click the + button.

3. Wait for devices within range to be found (max. 30 seconds).

4. On the found device, click Add.

5. Name the device and confirm.

6. In the My apiary section, verify availability (green Bluetooth indicator).

7. Click the device to load current data.

If the device does not appear

• repeat the search using the Load button
• check Bluetooth and location permission
• after the device starts, wait at least 1 minute
